LAFA was invited by Redland
Elementary School to display airplanes at their "First in Flight"
celebration on Sunday.
LAFA members
Cap'n Bob, Tony Utset, Mike Chin and Barry Hawkes represented LAFA at the
event following a performance in the auditorium to honor the Wright
brothers, Orville and Wilbur.

As many (if not more) adults
approached our members to look at the planes and ask questions, as did
children.
The event was a success in part
due to LAFA's displays. It was both an enjoyable and fulfilling day
for all who took part in the event.
