Those
of us who didn't go to Sun 'n Fun missed out on a chance to fly a
Wright Flyer simulator.
This clip shows
Claire Andersen's effort. Despite the sudden "acute landing" at the
end, Ron says her flight was one of the more successful ones. With
only 18 HP and no conventional ailerons, the Flyer doesn't respond very well
and does little more than fly (sort-of) in ground effect.
